Get Started!

BMX It is now an Olympic sport Enjoyed by kids aged 4 to 54.  It provides a great workout for Health and fitness

Focus. If your child gets distracted during other sports, BMX is a great option. Say goodbye to watching your child chase bugs or pick grass during practice. The reality of a crash and the thrill of the track will keep your child focused during the entire practice.

Fun. Riding a bike is a natural pastime for kids. BMX racing has been described by many kids as a roller coaster ride on two wheels.

How to learn BMX A concern for every sport is how your child will be instructed. Many of the children that start at the track are from families that know little to nothing about BMX racing. The positive, information sharing environment at X Roads has produced some of the best riders in the country, region, and state. The more you learn about BMX the more you will be impressed by the caliber of rider the X Roads track has produced. A visit to the track will allow you to witness how new riders are coached and assisted by volunteers and fellow riders. New riders will find themselves with additional help until they feel comfortable to ride and learn on their own. After riders start to feel comfortable making it around the track you will notice other riders and volunteers providing helpful and positive suggestions. The only limitation to what you child can learn at BMX is how open they are to suggestions for improvement.  For additional instruction, clinics are occasionally provided. To find out more about the clinics you should ask the BMX track volunteers at the office located on the track during practice and race days.
